David's parents came to visit for two weeks in June. We had a wonderful time, and it was so nice to for Elizabeth to spend so much time with her nanny and granddad. I also enjoyed two weeks of vacation from changing diapers, giving baths, and feeding! While we had fun in the city, we also worked hard at home. Thankfully they were here to help us with our move - although I am not sure if they saw it that way;) (granted it was only 2 floors away, it was still a MAJOR pain!!). We can't thank them enough for all their help!!
During the visit we went to the 9/11 museum, which was very well done, but emotionally exhausting. David and I took advantage of having the grandparents here and went out to dinner a few nights. As usual, we did lots of walking around NYC and my in-laws saw a show on Broadway. We all went to the Biergarten nearby on the day before they left, and also enjoyed drinks at Surf City during the visit. The weather was nice, not too hot or humid, and we didn't have much rain. We had two weeks of great food and LOTS of wine. Elizabeth LOVED the attention and we were all sad to see them go home.
Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures during the visit, but here are a few.
