Sooo Cold!

I haven't been keeping up with blogging like I should be this year.  It has been SO cold here, cold is actually an understatement.  David has been working around the clock (literally), and last week he went to Orlando for a few days.  So, I took that time and went to visit my parents for a week.  It is so nice to be an easy 3 hour drive away from them.  We really didn't do too much, but that's what I like the best about going home....the coffee is ready when I wake up and I revert back to being a kid again;) It was freezing at their house, and it is just as cold here in NJ. 

In the mornings it has been the temperature has been about 15 degrees, and only gets up to about 23 degrees during the afternoon.  In fact, it is so cold that David has actually been wearing a coat...and a hat and scarf!!  Friday evening we got a dusting of snow, about an inch.  Yesterday morning we went for a walk and the wind on the water is the worst.  I realize we only lived in Atlanta for 2 years, but I would like my 50 degree winters back...I swear my blood thinned while living in the south;) 

We are STILL surrounded by unpacking to be done...the problem is we don't have anywhere to put the stuff.  Apartment living is treating us well so far, I think the biggest difference is that we don't have places to just put the stuff we aren't using...which I guess means we don't need it.  Hopefully David's work schedule will start to slow down a bit soon.  And, hopefully spring will be here soon, it is so hard to be motivated to leave home in the freezing cold temperatures!!
